Changing Predator Pool Cue Weight?
I was thinking about buying a Predator Ikon pool cue, and I couldn’t decide on a weight. Almost all the websites selling these pool cues allow customized weights though, so it it possible to change the weight of the pool cue myself, or would it require a professional?
Regardless of whether I can or cannot do it myself, I was wondering if anyone had experience with Predator pool cue’s and customized weights.

If it is, would I be required to buy several weights of I wanted to change the weight of the pool cue?
I like my pool cue’s anywhere between 19 to 20.5 oz’s depending on how I feel if that helps.
Ebay? I was asking if I could change the weight after I bought it, not where I could buy it.
I have a Predator P3 and for that particular cue you need special tools because it has a customizable weight system. I also have an old 3K1 (circa 2003 or so) and you can pop off the end cap and remove the weight screw with a wide flat head screwdriver or the proper allan (sp?) wrench. This doesn’t exactly give you a fully customizable cue, as you could only have it at the weight with the screw in or the cue’s minimum weight (about 18oz), but some Predator dealers may be willing to trade weight screws without charging you. I’m looking at the Predator website and it says nothing about the Ikon cues having the customizable weight system that’s in the P3, so it’s probably like my older cue, but I can’t say that for sure.
